Ride Free With Your AVѧԺ ID
Take advantage of free bus transportation by simply showing your AVѧԺ ID when you board any Roseville Transit, Placer County Transit, Auburn Transit, Nevada County Connects and/or Tahoe-Truckee Area Regional Transit (TART) bus. You can also take advantage of discounts for rides with Uber.

If you’re tired of the stress of driving or just want to look for ways to save money on your commute, AVѧԺ has partnered with the following transit companies to provide AVѧԺ students with FREE, safe, and reliable transportation in our region.

|Roseville Campus: Routes A, B, D and L. Operate every 30-minutes or hourly.
Rocklin Campus: Route E. Operates every two hours
|Rocklin Campus: Routes 10, 20 and 50. Routes 10 and 20 operate hourly; Route 50 operates every two hours.
|No direct routes serve AVѧԺ campuses. However, Auburn Transit connects with PCT Routes 10 and 50 that service the Rocklin Campus at the Auburn Transit Center.
|Nevada County Campus (NCC): Route 4. Operates in two directions serving campus twice per hour.
|Tahoe-Truckee Campus: Route Hwy 89. Operates in two directions serving campus twice per hour.

Discounted Rides with Uber
AVѧԺ is proud to introduce an additional way for students to safely travel to and from campus subsidized on-demand student transportation partnership with Uber (*Terms and conditions apply).
The AVѧԺ Ride Free program now offers students discounted Uber rides to promote safe and responsible late-night transportation decisions to and from all AVѧԺ campuses and locations (Rocklin, Roseville, NCC, Tahoe-Truckee).
AVѧԺ Ride Free provides eligible students with up to five $5 ride discounts per day. The discount is valid for the 2024 Spring Semester (Monday, Jan. 22, 2024 through Saturday, May 18, 2024) from 6:30 pm – 11 pm, seven days per week.
Students are responsible for any amount over the initial $5 when redeeming a ride discount. Students also have the option to redeem a discount on a ride or save it for a future trip. Please note that tips are extra and are the financial responsibility of the student. Additional voucher terms and conditions may apply upon redemption.
How to Get Your Discount
- You must have an active Uber account to participate.
- You will receive access to the voucher in an email titled “Discounts for Uber.” Click the link in the mail to add the voucher code to your Uber Wallet.
- Voucher will automatically be applied if your request falls within the program parameters. Voucher terms and conditions apply.

Voucher Terms and Conditions
*Limited availability. No cash value. One-time use only. Maximum discount of $5 per redemption. Maximum of 5 trips/orders per account. To redeem discount, Uber Voucher code must be applied to Payment section of the Uber App prior to requesting the intended trip. Uber voucher valid Monday, Jan. 22, 2024 through Saturday, May 18, 2024 from 6:30 pm – 11 pm, seven days per week. Uber Voucher is only valid for rides requested using applicable Uber App. Taxes and other fees will be covered provided that the value of the Uber Voucher is greater than the total order amount. Offer is non-transferable, subject to change or cancellation. Issues involving redemption and/or use of the Uber Voucher code should be directed to Brett Carroll via email at email@example.com.
