Math Tutoring
Free Math Tutoring for Students
The Math Center and the Algebra and Statistics Support Center, provide free tutoring to students enrolled at AVѧԺ. We provide math support for a range of math and math-related courses.
Math Center
The Math Center provides free tutoring in mathematics from any math level, as well as the math contained in other subjects, such as Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, Economics, etc.
We can help with the following math courses: Math 10, 12, 15, 16A, 16B, 17, 18, 19, 24, 27, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, and 42
Hours
M–TR: 9 am – 5 pm
F: 9 am – noon
Sat: 9 am – 1 pm (Starting September 8, 2023)
Statistics Support Center
The Statistics Center is available to all students currently enrolled in Statistics classes at AVѧԺ. We provide free tutoring in Statistics.
Tutoring can help you get a better grade, deepen your understanding of a subject, or be a place to do your homework or meet study partners.
We can help with the following courses: Math 13, Soc 15, Psyc 142
Hours
M–TR: 9 am – 4 pm
F: 10 am – 3 pm
Algebra Support Center
The Algebra Support Center is open to all students enrolled in algebra classes at AVѧԺ, and students in need of algebra review.
We can help with the following courses: Math 12
Hours
M–TR: 9 am – 4 pm
F: 10 am – 3 pm
